Progesterone - the normal levels in the body.
The proper functioning of the body is enabled by the proper level of progesterone in the body. During the first 14 days of menstrual cycle, it is low (standard: 0.28-0.72 ng/ml). Progesterone levels begin to rise only in the periovulatory phase, approximately 14 days of the cycle. Then its amount increases (0.64-1.63 ng/ml). The highest level of progesterone reaches the luteal phase, at 21-23 days of the cycle (norm: 4.71-28.0 ng/ml), ie 7-9 days after ovulation. These standards apply to a 28-day cycle.
During menopause the level of progesterone is very low. In this period it can be only 0.07-1.25 ng/ml.
Unfortunately, menopause can occur even in your 30s! This happens sporadically, but there are cases like this.

After birth, the level of progesterone drops dramatically. This hormonal imbalance can cause apathy, sadness, and postnatal depression. With such a drastic decrease in progesterone postpartum, prolactin can work at its full power and women are able to breastfeed.
